About the Artist
Raymon
Fong uses paint to create an interpretation
of natural surroundings. A unique
vision in a contem- porary manner,
he simplifies and breaks the beauty
of nature into
its most simplistic shapes and forms
while retaining the beauty to which
nature possess.

Looking
at his paintings, one can notice the importance
he stresses on well defined curves, colour and
composition. His artwork displays an eerie sense
of calm which strikes the observer while looking
at static edges and shapes. Mixing this with a
harmonious colour palette, an impressive visual
balance is achieved.
“Possibilities are endless bringing the beauty
and complexity of the natural world into a simplified
one. I'm not attempting to recreate nature, I'm

A graduate from Dawson College 's Illustration
and Design program in Montreal , Raymon is always
finding new ways to express himself. A true renaissance
man of his era he is also a passionate songwriter
and video director releasing music albums and
its accompanying videos. |
